TestLens Has a New Look
Every early-stage product has a logo that was never really designed — it just happened. Ours was no exception. We had something that worked, so we shipped it and moved on.
Today we’re rolling out a refreshed visual identity for TestLens: a new logo, updated colors, and new fonts. We’re excited about it and wanted to share the thinking behind it.
The centerpiece of the new identity is the wordmark. It spells out TEST LENS with a stylized lens icon sitting right in the middle, where the two words meet.
The gradient — running from red through yellow to green — represents the test states we work with every day: failing, flaky, and passing tests. In that continuum, the lens focuses light, cuts through noise, and lets you see clearly what you care about. That’s what TestLens is trying to do for your pull request workflows and flaky tests. Not show you everything — show you what matters.
One requirement we had: the icon needs to hold up small, as an avatar on GitHub.
Beyond the logo, we’ve also updated the color palette and typography across the site, making it feel more polished and consistent.
If you haven’t tried TestLens yet and want to, let us know.
